COVID-19 Haith Group Customer Update – 26 March 2020

Haith Group would like to remind our customers that we are still open for business and here to support you.

As key workers supplying the food industry, we are still operating. However, we have changed some of our working practices to protect our staff and customers. We are following the latest government advice and trying our best to support our customers, who are working hard to keep the nation fed during these difficult and very busy times.

MANUFACTURING Most orders are on schedule. This could change if the availability of parts and staffing levels change. We are prioritising orders for food production projects as consumer demand for groceries has increased dramatically over the last few weeks.

PARTS At the moment, our parts department is well stocked. We are urging customers to check their stocks and order critical spare parts now to avoid potential shortages in the future. Please note, we have put in place a collection system which means customers will not come into contact with our staff. We ask all customers to phone us before collecting their order so we can advise them of the new system. If you have a new or persistent cough or a fever or are self-isolating, please do not visit us.

SERVICE The service team is still operating, but we’ve reduced the size of our teams. The service team are travelling individually; it’s one person, one van and the vehicles are cleaned daily. We are only undertaking critical service work and a maximum of two engineers, who will observe social distancing, are attending each job.

SALES TEAM Our team are working from home where possible. They are contactable via email, telephone and video conferencing if you need to talk to them.

The health of our staff, customers and their families is our top priority, so we will continue to follow government advice. We will let you know if and when we change our working practices.

We appreciate your support and cooperation in these challenging times.

Many thanks and stay safe,

Duane Hill Sales Director, Haith Group 26th March 2020
