Haith Appoints Operations Manager As Company Success Continues

Haith Group has appointed a new Operations Manager.

Justin Krebs joined the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of vegetable handling equipment this month to oversee the company’s production line.

Mr Krebs’ role at Haith’s Doncaster factory includes responsibility for production forecasting, planning and analysis; scheduling and progress monitoring; customer and supplier liaison; waste reduction; quality control; and coordinating design, electrical, parts, manufacturing; and health and safety department logistics.

With over 30 years’ engineering experience spanning production planning and management, engineering, quality control and project management, Justin started his career as a machinist before joining a bearings manufacturer, where he rose through the ranks, becoming Production Director in November 2012, a position he held until he took up his new challenge at Haith.

Nigel Haith, managing director of Haith, said the company’s directors decided to create the position to ensure the continued smooth and effective working of Haith’s various departments. “Our company has grown significantly over the last few years, and we are now dealing some of the largest food producers in the world as well as many farmers and growers across the UK and around the world. To ensure our success continues, we must maintain our high standards and exceptional customer service. By creating the role of Operations Manager, Justin will play a key role in this and act as the magnet that pulls all of our departments together. Justin has exceptional pedigree, vast experience and just the skill set we were looking for. It’s great to have him onboard.”

Mr Krebs is relishing the chance of working with a market leader: “Haith is an incredible success story and has grown without losing its values,” he says. “The challenge is to continue to grow the company further while maintaining its focus on innovation not imitation, customer service, value for money and developing reliable and effective machinery. I’m really looking forward to the new challenge and working with such a great team.”

Since starting in business in 1943, and incorporated as a limited company in 1964, Tickhill Engineering, which trades as Haith’s grading, washing, bulk handling, weighing, pre-pack systems and water treatment solutions are relied upon by some of the world’s largest food producers and packing companies along with farmers of all sizes in the UK and overseas.
