Our VertiFill filling heads are becoming an increasingly popular choice in packhouses throughout the world. This is due to extremely gentle and innovative way that the crop is transferred into the box and the saving of valuable space in the factory when compared to the traditional twin head box fillers.
An infeed elevator gently transfers produce into the deep, soft cleats of the lowerator belt. The produce is then conveyed down and transferred into the waiting bin below, as the bin fills, sensors raise the filling head vertically, gradually layering the crop into the bin.
The addition of an Even Flow Hopper before the filler buffers the crop whilst the box is being changed and allows the operator to maintain line speed. Multiple widths are available for a variety of box sizes, weigh platforms can be integrated to fill to a set weight.
