Haith’s Supa Stone and Clod Separator is an effective method to mechanically remove stones and clod from produce including potatoes, onion and beetroot.
Crop is fed into the top of the machine onto the integral infeed conveyor. The crop is then transferred onto the first rotating separation roller, manufactured from patented Juran spring steel, where the crop bounces onto a lowerator where the stones and clod fall onto a conveyor below along with the few remaining usable crop.
A second separation roller repeats the process to ensure maximum separation, all the stones and clod are exited out of the side of the machine via a discharge conveyor.
The freshly separated produce is all gently discharged via the conveyor at the base of the machine ready for use.
Powered rotary scrapers and cleaning brushes ensure that machinery stays clean and operates at the optimum level in any environment.
