The patented SupaTip 360 big bag tippler was developed by Haith to continuously empty big bags at a high capacity in a safe and gentle way.
A full bag is placed in to the 360 tipping cradle and secured with the bag hooks which is then rotated 180 degrees around a centre pivot and emptied on to discharge elevator. A continental web forms a lid over the bag whilst tipping for a gentle transfer, this also moves with the bag to ensure the crop isn’t scuffed.
Whilst the bag is in the maximum tip position, a secondary cradle at the reverse of the drum is loaded with a full bag. The bag snatcher arm then returns the empty bag to the loading and the operator can swap the bag hooks over onto the waiting full bag and the cycle is repeated.
The SupaTip 360 has a capacity in excess of 25 bags per hour and can be used as part of a washing or grading system to give a constant line feed or to feed a box filler as part of a bag to box system.
